【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesforthedeterminationofbenzene,toluene,C,Candheavieraromatics,andtotalaromaticsinfinishedmotorgasoline.Itisalsoapplicabletogasolineblendingcomponents.Note1-Foranalysisofgasolinesforbenzeneandtoluene,solely,TestMethodD3606canbeused.Thistestmethodisapplicabletothefollowingconcentrationranges,inliquidvolumepercent,fortheindividualaromaticslistedabove:benzene,0.1to5;toluene,1to20;C,3to25;Candheavier,5to30,andtotalaromatics,10to80.Ithasnotbeendeterminedwhetherthistestmethodisapplicabletogasolinecontainingoxygenates;forexample,ethersandalcohols.Resultsarereportedtothenearest0.1%byliquidvolume.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
