【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodmeasurestheabilityofprotectiveclothingorprotectiveensemblestoresistliquidpenetrationintheformofashowerspraywithsurfactant-treatedwater.1.2Thistestmethodmeasurestheliquidpenetrationresistanceoftheconstructionandconfigurationoftheoverallprotectiveclothingorprotectiveensemble,butespeciallyofseams,closures,andinterfaceswithothercomponentssuchasgloves,boots,hoods,andrespiratoryprotectiveequipment.Itisintendedthatthistestmethodbeusedtoassesstheliquidpenetrationresistanceofprotectiveclothingandprotectiveensemblesasreceivedfromthemanufacturerandworninaccordancewiththeirinstructions.1.3ResistanceofmaterialsusedinprotectiveclothingtopermeationorpenetrationcanbedeterminedinaccordancewithTestMethodsF739andF903,respectively.1.4TheintegrityofvaporprotectiveensemblesismeasuredbyitsabilitytomaintainpositiveinternalpressurewithTestMethodF1052.1.5ThevaluesinSIunitsorinotherunitsshallberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
