【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementsapplytopoweroperateddispensingdevicesforusewithmotorfuelsdefinedasgasoline/ethanolblendsotherthangasohol(E10).Inaddition,theserequirementsmaybeusedtoevaluateindividualcomponentsofadispensingdeviceasindicatedin1.2.1.2Inadditiontotheoveralldispensingdevice,andinaccordancewith1.1,theserequirementsshallapplytodevicesthatareusedtoconstructadispensingdevice,includingthefollowinginbothfluidconfiningandvaporrecoveryapplicationswhereapplicable.a)Pumps;b)Meters;c)Strainers;d)Electricallyoperatedvalves(forusewithflammableliquids);e)Hosenozzlevalves;f)Mechanicallyoperatedvalvesincludingshearvalves;g)Hoseassemblies;h)Breakawaycouplings;i)Swivelconnectors;j)Pressurereliefdevices(forusewithflammableliquids);k)Mechanicallineleakdetectors;l)Castingimpregnationmaterials;andm)Gasketsandseals.1.3RequirementsfortheinstallationanduseofthesedispensingdevicesareincludedintheCodeforMotorFuelDispensingFacilitiesandRepairGarages,NFPA30A,andtheNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70.1.4Theserequirementsapplytowiringmethodsusedtoinstallorinterconnectsuchcontrolequipmentwhentheequipmentislocateddirectlyonorwithinthehousingofthedispensingdevice.1.5Theserequirementsdonotapplytocontrolequipmentthatmayauthorize,monitor,orinterruptoperationofapower-operateddispensingdevice,norotherauxiliaryequipment.TheseproductswouldbecoveredundertheStandardforControlEquipmentforUseWithFlammableLiquidDispensingDevices,UL1238.1.6Requirementsfordispensingdevicesforusewithgasoline,gasoline/alcoholblendsuptoE10orM10,dieselfuel,fueloil,lubricatingoil,orkerosene,arecoveredundertheStandardforPower-OperatedFlammableLiquidDispensingDevices,UL87.1.7TheserequirementsdonotcoverdispensingdevicesforusewithLP-Gas,whicharecoveredundertheStandardforPower-OperatedDispensingDevicesforLP-Gas,UL495.
